We made it to St. Louis and our home has been the St. Louis RV park downtown. It is totally functional, but mostly empty and not pretty. We did our work on Friday and then went to the City Museum for the evening where they were having an event so Marleigh and I both got to play. She was everywhere throughout the museum, even on the 10 story slide, and I browsed exhibits and had some nice conversations. We got home late on Friday night and enjoyed crock pot tater tot casserole and went to bed. We awoke on Saturday to rain and cold, and Mar wasn’t feeling all that hot, so decided to stay one more night here. I took Lilly on a walk, made arrangements for the additional night stay, and we crawled back into bed and watched TV for much of the day. While I know there is much to do and see here, it was great to have a down day- we have had a lot of excitement in the last several weeks and it was great to just chill. Today we will head out generally towards Nashville, likely with a stop near Paducah, KY near the Land Between the Lakes. Mar is interested in staying at Loretta Lynn Ranch and RV park which is over 4 hours away- don’t think we will make it that far today, but you never know…. Happy Sunday, everybody!
I believe Paducah is a famous quilting town where they have an annual quilt show/conference.
Have a grand day and hope Mar is feeling better. This all sounds like so much fun! xx
